Weezer has finally announced a released date for Van Weezer, their 15th studio album initially announced in 2019, and has released a new track from the LP titled “I Need Some of That.”

Embedded below, “I Need Some of That” is the fourth track previewed from the album following “The End of the Game,” “Hero” and “Beginning of the End.”

The release of Van Weezer was originally tied to the Hella Mega Tour, which featured Weezer sharing a bill with Green Day and Fall Out Boy. The tour was initially announced in September 2019 and coincided with new album releases from each band. The tour was set to take place in the summer of 2020, but plans changed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Van Weezer was delayed and was oddly lapped by the release of Weezer’s latest album OK Human, which came out in January. Finally, however, Van Weezer will be unleashed on the masses on May 7 and is currently available for pre-order here. A full tracklisting is below.
