East Side Dave’s Top 5 Simpsons Side Characters!

Is there any show with MORE beloved characters than The Simpsons?   I mean...really...there are like fifty different characters that are absolutely fantastic.

So, we're making a list.   And trust me...this will be a controversial list.   It's the Top 5 Simpsons Side Characters!   Let the debates and name-calling begin, Simpsons fans!

5.) Krusty the Klown

Sometimes I wish the Krusty show was real.   It's true.   I could use some friends.

4.) Mayor Quimby

Springfield's distinguished and dignified mayor who is actually rather undistinguished and undignified.

3.) Chief Wiggum

For sheer laugh volume...it's really, really hard to beat Chief Wiggum...who is the funniest cop in TV history.

2.) Sideshow Bob 

Are there any better Simpsons episodes than Sideshow Bob episodes?   His epic rivalry with Bart has resulted in Bob attempting to kill the boy several times.....only to be foiled at the last second.

1.) Mr. Burns

Where would The Simpsons be without Mr. Burns?   He is the show's Darth Vader, Hannibal Lecter, and Lex Luthor all rolled into one.   The villain of villains...he is...EXCELLENT.
