The events of the last year have taken a serious financial toll on countless industries. The music and entertainment industry is no exception. Countless concerts and events were cancelled in the midst of a global pandemic that locked down our world. While venues are now slowly beginning to re-open and social-distanced concerts are now taking place, there is much damage to be un-done.
Asbury Band Aid is an effort by The Stone Pony, The Asbury Park Boardwalk and The Vin Gopal Civic Association to heal the financial trauma inflicted by the covid-19 pandemic on the local music and entertainment scene. The live stream concert/fundraiser will take place this Tuesday 4/20 at 7:00 pm at asburybandaid.com. Artists and entertainers will be able to apply for a grant from the money raised by the show.
