Jon Bon Jovi Covers The Pogues’ ‘Fairytale Of New York’ (Plus Two Other Christmas Songs)
Jon Bon Jovi has just released three Christmas covers…and we’ve got them for ya! The tracks will be included in the new holiday album, A Jon Bon Jovi Christmas.
In the videos below, Bon Jovi plays Tom Petty‘s “Christmas All Over Again”…Elvis Presley‘s “If I Get Home On Christmas Day”…and…somewhat surprisingly…”Fairytale Of New York” by The Pogues. Keep in mind, the latter has been seen as controversial with some saying that it has “offensive language” in it. The tune has even been banned by the BBC! So, I’m rather interested in Jon covering this infamous Christmas song from the Irish Celtic-punk legends!
