Wolfgang Van Halen has announced the first gig for his solo project Mammoth WVH.
Van Halen shared the news via Twitter that Mammoth WVH has been booked for the 2021 Aftershock Festival. The band's set is part of the festival's bill on Sunday, October 10 which is being headlined by Metallica.
Mammoth WVH's first single "Distance," which serves as a tribute to Eddie Van Halen, was released last week and has already seen significant chart success. "Distance" went to number one on iTunes' overall singles chart and debuted at number one on Billboard's Hot Hard Rock Songs chart.
