Foo Fighters clearly have something up their sleeves, and some believe it could be a new album.
Some eagle-eyed fans in southern California have shared via Instagram and Reddit they've spotted some ominous projections of the band's logo next to an X, which is the Roman numerical equal to 10. The Foos' last album, 2017's Concrete and Gold, was the band's ninth studio album.
The aforementioned Reddit post also shows an image of a burning coffin. According to RockSound, that same burning coffin image is visible when certain songs, including "These Days," is played on Spotify.
A new Foo Fighters album has been in the works for some time now. The last anything was said about a new Foo album was in May when Dave Grohl told Consequence of Sound, "The record is so good, we’re so excited for people to hear it, we’re so excited to go out and play it. It’s filled with anthemic, huge, sing-along rock songs. It’s kind of like a dance record, but not an EDM, disco, modern dance record. It’s got groove. To me, it’s our David Bowie’s 'Let’s Dance' record. That’s what we wanted to make, we wanted to make this really up, fun record."
