Linkin Park is about one week out from the 20th anniversary reissue release of their massive debut album Hybrid Theory, and the band has shared one of the many demos featured on the reissue.

Embedded below is the demo version of “In The End,” and it shows that even in the earlier stages of recording this massive hit, the band were clearly aware of the magic they had on their hand. “In The End” remains Linkin Park’s highest-charting song peaking at number two on the Billboard Hot 100.

Due out October 9 and available for pre-order now, the Hybrid Theory reissue will be made available in a variety of formats and bundles. Among the offerings is a Super Deluxe Box Set that boasts five CDs, 3 LPs, 3 DVDs and a ton of other extras including a “Forgotten Demos” disc with 12 previously unreleased tracks.
