Long Beach Island’s 32nd Annual Chowderfest Announced
The Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce has announced the 32nd Annual Chowderfest will take place on Long Beach Island Saturday, September 5 through October 4, 2020.
The newly dynamic ChowderMonth will allow customers to enjoy restaurants at their own pace and avoid overcrowding of restricted space while supporting local businesses.
ChowderMonth features include a Chowderfest playlist for in-home or on route listening, Ecommerce Chowderwear store, Chowder Virtual Run, an online voting component, among other things.
“The importance of the event cannot be underestimated,” Chamber President Christopher Schwab said in a statement. “This will bring Merchants and Restaurants the end of season attention as well as give everyone an enjoyable way to support local businesses”.
