Gibson Announces AC/DC All-Star Livestream For ‘Back In Black’ 40th Anniversary
Gibson has partnered with Consequence of Sound for an all-star livestream event celebrating the 40th anniversary of AC/DC‘s 1980 mega-hit album Back In Black. The one-day virtual event will take place on Friday, July 24th starting at 5 p.m. ET, and will feature appearances and performances from Slash, Sebastian Bach, Dave Amato, Orianthi alongside members of Alice in Chains, Cage the Elephant, Anthrax, Trivium, Lamb of God, and more.
Celebrating the 40th anniversary of AC/DC’s Back in Black, Gibson is giving away a Gibson Custom SG “Red Devil” guitar just like Angus Young’s; the latest Schaffer Tower EX signed by inventor Ken Schaffer; a Marshall JTM45 amp with a SoloDallas Black Mod converting it to a JTM50, just like Young used on Back in Black; and a Marshall cabinet loaded with vintage speakers. Five runners-up will each receive a Schaffer Replica Storm pedal and Back in Black on vinyl. Entry limited to residents of the US and Canada. Enter the contest below.
