Joan Jett is featured on the highly-anticipated T. Rex tribute album, Angelheaded Hipster, and her cover of the band's hit "Jeepster" was just released as a special preview.

"Jeepster" was featured on T. Rex's seminal 1971 album Electric Warrior. Jett's cover is the third preview of the album following Kesha's cover of "Children of the Revolution" and Nick Cave's cover of "Cosmic Dancer." The tribute album also features Elton John, U2, Perry Farrell, Todd Rundgren and more.

Angelheaded Hipster was produced by Hal Willner, who passed away from COVID-19 on April 7. The project itself has been long in the works with first reports about its existence dating back to October 2018.

Angelheded Hipster is due out September 4 and is currently available for pre-order here.
