MOTÖRHEAD’S LEMMY KILMISTER GETS THE BIOPIC TREATMENT

The man who smoked like a chimney, drank Jack Daniels for breakfast, and ate speed for dinner will finally get his own biopic. It’s simply titled “Lemmy” and it’s being directed by Greg Olliver, who was behind the 2010 documentary of the same name.
“Lemmy” will go into production next year, with VMI introducing the film at the Cannes virtual market. It will follow Lemmy’s life growing up in Stoke-on-Trent, becoming a roadie for Jimi Hendrix ,and being a member of seminal psychedelic rock band Hawkwind before forming MOTÖRHEAD. Production will likely begin in 2021 depending on Covid-19 restrictions.
