New Single “The Longest Weekend” Available Now!
Joe Benoit is a Classic Rocker with a modern edge. His latest album “Too Old To Be a Rock Star” is available now. The release draws influence from both 1970’s and 1990’s era Rock. You can stream it on all platforms. The album is available at joebenoitmusic.com. You can purchase a digital download, however we recommend grabbing it on vinyl.
A native New Jerseyean, Joe Benoit currently resides in Queens, NY. He regularly rocks the venues of near by Manhattan and Brooklyn, or at least he did before the world went into lock down. Living in one of the hardest hit and most densely populated areas in the world he has had to make several adjustments. He took the opportunity of the free time allotted from quarantine to write and record a new song. He had fellow musicians record their parts remotely and send them to him. The result is a great, highly relevant new tune, appropriately titled “The Longest Weekend.”
You can download “The Longest Weekend” now at joebenoitmusic.com. Proceeds from the sale of the track will be donated to charities benefiting Covid-19 front line workers.
Tune to Jersey Rock on 95.9 The Rat Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 11:30 pm to hear the new single as well as cuts from “Too Old To Be A Rock Star.” Joe Benoit will call in the show each night!
