LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - MARCH 06: LeBron James #23 of the Los Angeles Lakers celebrates after passing Michael Jordan and moving to #4 on the NBA's all-time scoring list during the second quarter against the Denver Nuggets at Staples Center on March 06, 2019 in Los Angeles, California. Um…Paul?   Are you ok?

Former Boston Celtic and future NBA Hall-Of-Famer, Paul Pierce, is weighing in on the Michael Jordan Vs. LeBron James debate, following the massive success of the Jordan docuseries, The Last Dance.   Pierce not only says that Michael is better than LeBron…but also that LeBron isn’t even in the Top SEVEN of all time!

Whaaa?   I understand that the other players on Pierce’s list are all legends.   No question about that.   But LeBron broke a FIFTY-year, Cleveland sports curse.   Between the Browns, Indians, and Cavs…LeBron’s championship with the Cavs marked the first time a pro Cleveland sports team won a championship since 1964!   That’s 150 sports seasons without a championship until LeBron won the NBA Finals!   AND…he had to come from behind against a 73-win Golden State Warriors after the Cavs trailed three games to one.

Combined with his other two championships with the Miami Heat, in my mind, LeBron is easily in the Top Three if not two players ever.   Check out the clip below!
