Metallica is celebrating the 100th batch of their Blackened Whiskey in a big way.

The band has unveiled a special box set featuring a fifth of the 100th batch of Blackened and a double-12″ picture disc collection of Metallica songs created by Master Distiller & Blender Rob Dietrich.

In a statement on the playlist, Lars Ulrich said, “When I look at Rob’s playlist, I love the selections, I love the variety, I love that he’s gone for two deeper
live tracks from the Damaged Justice tour, I love seeing both the Binge & Purge and Through the Never eras represented, and he even tapped the Helping Hands album, so it’s clear he is not a part-timer!”

The complete box set (whose retailing price starts at $149) can be viewed in the unboxing video below. To get complete details on the box set, including where to pre-order the set, head over to BlackenedWhiskey.com.
