Queen Streaming Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert for Charity
Queen is streaming their classic Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert on YouTube to help raise money for COVID-19 efforts.
The concert will be available on YouTube for 48 hours only beginning Friday, May 15 at 2 PM EST/11 AM PST. While available on YouTube, fans will have the option to donate to the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization. Google.org will match $2 for every $1 up to $5 million raised during the fundraising stream. Video for the stream is embedded below.
The 1992 Mercury tribute concert featured an incredibly stacked lineup including David Bowie, George Michael, Annie Lennox, Elton John, Guns N’Roses, Robert Plant, Metallica, Liza Minelli, Def Leppard, Seal, Roger Daltry and more.
