Hey, Rat Rock Nation.   "East Side" Dave here from the Morning Rat Race...and I recently went down a YouTube vortex of Bill Murray appearances on David Letterman...to an epic amount of pleasure.

Here are my Top 5.   You will be entertained.  Enjoy.  Stay safe and healthy!

East Side Dave's Top 5 Bill Murray Appearances On Letterman

5.) Bill's Appearance On Letterman's First CBS Show

History was made in 1993, as Dave left NBC for CBS.  And who was his very first guest?  Mr. Murray, of course.

4.) Bill Murray: Better Than Elvis & Liberace

I'm still not sure what is going on in this clip...nor do I care...as Bill is absolutely bonkers and hysterical in this appearance.

3.) Bill Murray: Fan Of Cake

In this epic video, Bill emerges from a cake, tells amazing stories, leaves the studio to walk around New York City, and throws more cake at Dave.  This man is a champion.

2.) Bill Murray Vs. The Heckler

An audience member (who was actually a writer for Letterman) gives Bill some guff.  Big mistake.  You don't mess with the Murray.

1.) Bill's Appearance On Letterman's First NBC Show

Bill sings "Let's Get Physical", spray-paints Dave's desk, and is overall and amazing first guest for Letterman on his first late night show in 1982.  (Bill's appearance begins at 10:29 in).
