I am nearly out of disinfecting wipes so I decided to make my own. I use them around the house, and they're safe to use on marble and granite. If I have to go to the grocery store, I use them to wipe down the credit card machine and any other surface my items come in contact with.
You'll need:
individual paper towels or cloth squares (35 to 50)
Container or a plastic bag such as Ziploc to hold the wipes
INGREDIENTS
1 cup water
1 cup 70% rubbing (isopropyl) alcohol OR 120-proof distilled spirits (like Everclear)
½ tsp. liquid dish detergent adds cleaning power
8 drops of lavender or some other essential oil (optional)
