Because so many people are self isolating and shopping online from home, credit card skimming is on the rise. Digital credit card skimming happens when malware is injected into a shopping payment page with the goal of stealing credit card information.
To prevent your card from being skimmed, make sure you have antivirus software installed. Don't enter your card info on too many sites, stick with one or two major portals that already have your data stored in your account profile, and keep an eye on your statements. The last thing we want is more unexpected debt. Cyber criminals are lying in wait, don't do online shopping without protection.
