Manasquan Officials Take Action To Contain Spread Of COVID-19
The Borough of Manasquan is taking action to help contain the spread of COVID-19. Town officials came forward to announce the new directives put in place from now until May 15.
The beach and inlet walks are now closed to the public in Manasquan, New Jersey as well as municipal parks and playgrounds. In addition, all rental contracts are suspended effective immediately.
The Manasquan Patch has reported that there are a “number of persons under home quarantine” with “four confirmed cases” of the coronavirus in the town.
“We owe it to ourselves, our families, and our community to do everything we can to stop the spread of this virus and minimize the negative health and economic impacts to our community,” the borough told the Manasquan Patch. “Your help is imperative!”
