If Kristen Bell’s latest Instagram post doesn’t convince you to wash your hands more often then we don’t know what will. The actress shared a collage of six images of her mother’s hands under a blacklight.
Bell wants her 13.2 million followers to know that you need to wash your hands for a minimum of 30 seconds each time. The 39-year-old compares before washing, rinse and shake, six seconds no soap, six seconds with soap, fifteen seconds with soap, and thirty seconds with soap.
“My mom sent me the hand washing black light comparison. 30 SECONDS WITH SOAP YALL,” Bell captioned her Instagram photo.
TODAY reported that experts recommend washing your hands for a full 20 seconds just to clean off the bacteria. As for children, they are expected to sing “Happy Birthday” two times.
