“I was an Avenger. I made mistakes. And a lot of enemies.”

So says Scarlett Johansson’s Natasha Romanoff, aka the Black Widow in the new trailer of the long-awaited Marvel Cinematic Universe film, Black Widow. Taking place after the events of 2016’s Captain America: Civil War but before 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War, Romanoff is no longer an Avenger and has been reunited with her Yelena Belova, a sister figure of her who she trained with back in Russia (played by Florence Pugh).

One of those enemies that she refers to is the Taskmaster, a villain who can instantly mimic anyone’s skills, just by watching them; so he now is as crafty with a shield as Captain America, and he’s as good of an archer as Clint Barton’s Hawkeye.

Black Widow opens May 1. Watch the trailer below.
