A Private New Jersey Island Is Being Sold for $200,000
No Man’s Island is now for sale and it could be yours for $200,000. The 19-acre property located off the Jersey Shore in Cape May County hit the market back in the fall of 2019.
Software engineer, Omer Fahim, has owned the island since 2017 and he’s ready to let it go while investing in other things. NBC New York revealed that the island was previously purchased for $7,000 while most believe it is inhabitable due to the fact that it is mapped entirely as coastal wetlands.
“For that price that I’m selling it as, I think it’s a win for anyone who’s buying it because, come on, it’s a 19 acre private island,” Fahim told NBC New York.
The Private Islands Inc. listing states it is just minutes away from the Wildwoods and is easily accessible by boat. The island is only 3 feet above water with taxes less than $360 a year.
