Thank you, Dee Snider!

The legendary frontman for Twisted Sister is endorsing a petition on Change.org that is calling for a hard rock/metal act for next year’s Super Bowl.

Now, the petition and Snider himself are not simply crapping on the pop acts that have appeared in the past decade.

They are merely pointing out that there hasn’t been a major rock headliner at the Super Bowl half-time since The Who in 2010 (other rock acts have popped up as special guests…but not as the main performer in that time).  Here’s Dee’s Tweet:

It’s hard to disagree with Dee Snider and the petition.  We need some more ROCK in the Big Game!

If you’re interested in signing the petition…you can visit it at the Change.org page here.  Thank you!
