British Teens Aren’t Happy About Rage Against the Machine Headlining Reading and Leeds Festivals
Rage Against the Machine reuniting and touring this year is a pretty big deal, unless you happen to be a British teenager.
Rage was announced as one of the headlining acts of the Reading and Leeds Festivals this summer. Upon confirmation of this news on the festival’s Twitter account, however, the mentions turned into an absolute mess of some younger followers who clearly have no idea who Rage is.
Historically, these two festivals have hosted some of the biggest names in rock including Metallica, Foo Fighters, Green Day and many more. While their lineups have incorporated more non-rock acts over the years, there’s always been some rock representation.
Regardless of this fact, there were plenty of people who were not happy. Here are just some of the best angry/clueless reactions.

Fortunately, there was someone in the comments to point out that Rage headlined back in 2008.
