Stone Temple Pilots: Listen To Their New Song, ‘Miles Away’
Tomorrow (Feburary 7), Stone Temple Pilots will release their new album, Perdida, and they’ve just released another new track from the album.
“Miles Away,” from the all-acoustic album, features Yutong Sharpe on violin, Bill Appleberry on keyboard. Bassist Robert DeLeo plays marxophone on the track. A marxophone is a fretless zither; you can see a video of how it is used here.
Listen to the new song below.
Stone Temple Pilots are about to go on an Australian tour with Bush and Live, before returning to the states to tour with Nickelback.
Brian has been working in pop culture and media for about three decades: he’s worked at MTV, VH1, SiriusXM, CBS and Loudwire. Besides working as a writer and an editor-in-chief, he’s also appeared on air as a pundit, guested on radio shows and hosted podcasts. Over the years, he’s interviewed the surviving members of Led Zeppelin, the members of U2, Beyonce, Pink, Usher, Stevie Nicks, Lorde… and is grateful to have had the chance to interview Joe Strummer of the Clash and Tom Petty.
