Myles Kennedy Performs “Hallelujah” On Jeff Buckley’s Guitar
NEW YORK, NY - MAY 07: Myles Kennedy performs for the "Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators concert" at Terminal 5 on May 7, 2015 in New York City.
It’s stunning…
Myles Kennedy is paying tribute to late singer Jeff Buckely.
The Alter Bridge frontman played a cover of “Hallelujah” on Buckley’s 1983 Fender Telecaster during a performance at L’Olympia in Paris this week.
Buckley used that same guitar when he performed that song at the same venue back in 1995, a performance which was recorded and made into his posthumous live album, “Live À L’Olympia.”
Kennedy said during the show that Buckley was one of his biggest influences.
