People are decorating, thinking about costumes, buying candy to pass out to all the ghouls and goblins that march through their neighborhood.
But what about the real-life ghouls that may inhabit our neighborhood?
Sadly, they exist. But thanks to Meghan's Law: Sexual predators have to register.
Here's how you can find out if a convicted sex offender lives in an area you might be trick-or-treating in this year:

- Click the box that reads "click here to search for offenders in your area"
- Enter the address where you'll be trick-or-treating
