Metallica will be performing double-headlining sets at five different festivals in the United States in 2020.
In a Facebook Live video, the band has signed on to perform at Epicenter, Welcome to Rockville, Sonic Temple, Louder Than Life and Aftershock next year. Each festival takes place over three days, from Friday through Sunday, and Metallica will be performing headlining sets on Friday and Sunday at each festival. Each night will feature a different setlist.
The festival dates, locations and pass sale dates are as follows:
–Epicenter: May 1-3. Charlotte Motor Speedway, Concord, North Carolina. Passes go on sale October 14 at 12 PM ET at EpicenterFestival.com.
–Welcome to Rockville: May 8-10. Daytona Int. Speedway, Daytona Beach, Florida. Passes go on sale October 14 at 12 PM ET at WelcomeToRockvilleFestival.com.
–Sonic Temple: May 15-17. MAPFRE Stadium, Columbus, Ohio. Passes go on sale October 14 at 12 PM ET at SonicTempleFestival.com.
–Louder Than Life: September 18-20. Highland Festival Grounds at KY Expo Center, Louisville, Kentucky. Passes go on sale October 14 at 12 PM ET at LouderThanLifeFestival.com.
–Aftershock Festival: October 9-11. Discovery Park, Sacramento, California. Passes go on sale October 14 at 12 PM ET at AftershockFestival.com.
