Did you see the epic National League Wild Card Game last night?

If not, you missed a doozy.

In what can only be described as Bill Buckner-esque, Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Trent Grisham let a routine single get past him...and he essentially cost his team the game as a result.

While it's unfair...people seem to need a scapegoat...and for the Brewers fans...Trent Grisham is now to the city of Milwaukee what Buckner is to Boston.

As a result, we've compiled a list...Top 5 Sports Choke-Jobs Ever!  With VIDEO!  Enjoy!

- East Side Dave

5.) The aforementioned Trent Grisham sinks the Brew Crew with a costly error.  Milwaukee is eliminated from the playoffs.

4.) The Cleveland Cavs' J.R. Smith messes up the score of the game...thinking his team was ahead...when the game was really tied.  The Cavs ultimately lose.

3.) Michigan's Chris Webber calls timeout during the NCAA Finals against North Carolina.  The problem is...Michigan was out of timeouts.  A technical foul is called.  Tarheels win the Championship.

2.) Playing against the New York Giants, the Buffalo Bills' Scott Norwood attempts  a field goal with seconds on the clock in the Super Bowl.  If he makes it...Buffalo gets a Championship.  However...wide right...Giants win the Super Bowl.

1.) The most infamous choke-job sadly still goes to the Boston Red Sox's Bill Buckner...who let the ball get through his legs in the 1986 World Series against the Mets.  The error cost the Sox the game...the Mets go on to win the Series in seven games.
