Kodiak wields the power of 1980’s Arena Rock and is poised to take the scene by storm. Their debut album has not yet been released but they are already generating a serious buzz. With just a few singles out Kodiak has achieved acclaim in the physical world across state lines, as well as online. Like Greta Van Fleet, they have one foot in Rock’s classic past, while moving towards the future. We look forward to watching what they do next!
Kodiak’s next performance is at The Saint in Asbury Park on 9/1. Doors are at 7:00 pm. Tickets are just $10 and are available at ticketweb.com. If you can’t make the Asbury Park show, or want to see them more than once, you can catch Kodiak at Pianos in New York City on 9/27. Doors are at 5:30 pm. Tickets are once again only $10 and are available at eventbrite.com.
Kodiak’s debut album is on the way. It is being produced by legendary drummer Carmine Appice and promises to be an epic introduction to the band.

Kodiak’s video for “Alone” does not shy away from the band’s heavy 1980’s Rock influence. In fact, it fully embraces it. Taking cues from the vibe of many Hair Metal videos and directly emulating A-Ha’s iconic video for “Take On Me,” Kodiak’s video for “Alone” is both totally tubular and rad to the max. “Alone” is a great track and should garner plenty of attention. Check it out!
