The Clydes have a brand new album on the way this Fall! Tentatively titled “4th World War,” the new LP will be celebrated with a record release show at The Wonder Bar in Asbury Park on 10/11. They have 2 Jersey Rock Video of the Week features and 4 Jersey Rock Weekly Podcast appearances under their belt and now The Clydes are 95.9 The Rat’s Jersey Rock Band of the Week. The New Brunswick Alternative Pop Rockers, who recently rocked their 100th show, have described themselves as “not just a band. Also a lifestyle.” Considering the fact that two of the band’s members; Brent and Brian Johnson are brothers that statement definitely rings true. The two have been making music together for decades. Along with Andrew Lord Chandler and Pete Gambino, they are ready to release yet another awesome album.
Tentatively titled “4th World War,” The Clydes new album turns up the synth while retaining elements of The Clydes’ sound that has made them a mainstay on the New Brunswick music scene. The album will be released this Fall on Mint 400 Records.
Tune to Jersey Rock on 95.9 The Rat Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday night at 11:30 pm to hear cuts from The Clydes’ discography. We will premiere their latest single “Jalisa” Tuesday night.
