Watch 1000 Musicians Play Rage Against The Machine’s ‘Killing In The Name’
You’ve heard the Rage Against The Machine classic, “Killing In The Name” a thousand (or more) times, but you probably haven’t heard it played by a thousand people. Brace yourself.
Rockin 1000 is a project that, in 2015, organized a group of one thousand musicians to perform “Learn to Fly” by the Foo Fighters in Cesena, Italy, in hopes of getting the Foo Fighters to play in their town (which they eventually did). Since then, they’ve organized 1000-member-superband performances of the Pixies’ “Where Is My Mind,” Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit” Queen’s “We Will Rock You” and David Bowie’s “Rebel Rebel.”
