Celebrating Their New “Douglass Wake” EP at The Clubhouse of Toms River on 8/31!

Call it a funeral for a friend.  Toms River Pop Punk/Alternative Rock outfit This Year’s Comeback is moving in a new direction and putting part of their past to rest.  Symbollically burying their Pop Punk roots, the band is saying goodbye to their mascot with an EP titled in his honor. Doug, a brown bear sporting a white T-shirt reading “This Year’s Comeback” has represented This Year’s Comeback since their inception, appearing in music videos and showing up in photos.  He’s a cool mascot but to continue their evolution as a band, This Year’s Comeback has to leave the bear behind.

“Douglass Wake,” a four-song release that marks a new beginning for the band will be released on 8/31.  The same day This Year’s Comeback will celebrate the EP with a show at The Clubhouse of Toms River. Learn more HERE.

Tune to Jersey Rock on 95.9 The Rat Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 11:30 pm to hear the latest from This Year’s Comeback! Singer Brian Matthew will call in to the show each night!
