Jersey Rock Band of the Week: Kodiak
Rocking My Father’s Place in Roslyn, NY with Carmine Appice on 7/27!
Kodiak is a youthful, energetic Hard Rock band with a totally rad 1980’s-charged sound. The group draws influence from the likes of Def Leppard, Guns N’Roses, Whitesnake and many more Arena Rock acts. Those influences definitely come across in their music. Kodiak tracks are catchy and technically sound, booming with great instrumental work. Legendary drummer Carmine Appice has likened them to “a young Van Halen.”
Kodiak is currently working on their debut album with Carmine Appice producing the LP. It is due out in the Fall. Ahead of the release, the band has put out 3 singles. You can check them out at kodiakband.com.
Don’t miss Kodiak at My Father’s Place in Roslyn NY on 7/27! The venue is about an hour from New York City. Carmine Appice will be on site to talk about his upcoming album and introduce the band. Tickets are available at myfathersplace.com.
