Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford is probably the last person you’d expect to kick a phone out of a fan’s hand during a performance, but that’s what happened during a recent show in Rosemont, Ill.

While the band was performing “Judas Rising,” Halford just punts the hell out of a fan’s cell phone, and it goes flying! (Side note: The fact that Halford didn’t skip a beat on his vocals is just an added bonus.)

People in the comment section of the video said the fan in question had the light on his cell phone on while filming the show. While that wasn’t exactly confirmed, the following tweet was shared from Priest’s account after the phone-kicking video started to go viral: “The facts are we love our fans and you can film us all you like and watch our show on your phone rather than in the flesh – however, if you physically interfere with the Metal God’s performance you now know what will happen.”

In other words: Don’t be an idiot, and turn off your phone’s light/flash during a show. Better yet, put your phone away for the bulk of the show so you can better enjoy the show in its entirety.
