Bad Wolves’ Tommy Vext Talks Working On Project with HBO
Bad Wolves have a busy summer ahead of them with shows in Europe and touring with Papa Roach stateside beginning in July, but singer Tommy Vext has another big project he’ll be tackling on top of that.
Vext spoke with WRIF’s Jade Springart recently and talked about some plans involving bringing his fascinating life story to the world of premium cable:
“I’m actually supposed to begin writing a biography this summer with a writer from HBO. Before ‘Remember When’ came out and even before all of that, I had a pretty tenuous run as a public speaker. I would get hired to speak at rehabs, and I would get hired to speak at colleges and high schools and different things to tell my story and the consequences of addiction and mental health illness. I met some people. I spoke at a thing, and some producers from HBO came. They wanted to meet me. So, I don’t know. We’re going to work on it. I don’t know if it’s going to happen. It’s going to be a lot of work.”
Bad Wolves, meanwhile, just wrapped a lot of work in finishing recording their second studio album. So far, a timetable for release is not yet known.
