Corey Taylor announced today (May 10) that he is undergoing surgery on both of his knees.
The Slipknot frontman shared the news via Instagram along with the caption, “Surgery in both knees today- soon I’ll be worth Six Million Dollars!! See you all soon! #bionic#leemajors”
Taylor didn’t identify the severity of his double knee surgery, but fans can’t help question what this means for the band’s appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! next Friday (May 17) and their extensive touring schedule this summer.
Could this mean we might see Taylor, like Axl Rose, borrow Dave Grohl‘s throne for some tour dates this summer? We’ll all have to wait and see. In the meantime, here’s wishing Taylor a speedy, successful recovery.
