Chester Bennington’s first band, Grey Daze, is working on a new project and have recruited Bennington’s son, Jaime, on vocals.

The band is in the process of re-recording select songs from their two albums, 1994’s Wake Me and 1997’s …No Sun Today, and shared this update via their Facebook page.

Chester would have been so very proud of his Son Jaime Bennington,”  wrote the band in the post below. “We had Jaime sing along with his father last night at NRG Recording Studios and his voice is great! Sounds a lot like his father and we were all very proud to be a part of it.”

The currently untitled project features a number of other special guests, including Korn’s Brian “Head” Welch and James “Munky” Shaffer and P.O.D’s Marcos Curiel.
