Union Beach Alternative/Post-Hardcore group Serious Matters is back with a brand new video. “Waves” not only rocks hard but also tells a story that will resonate with anyone who’s ever felt alone and anxious in a crowded room. According to the band the track is about “the crippling anxiety that people suffer from simply leaving the house and having to interact with other individuals.” The video’s aim is to “connect with anyone who has experienced anxiety, but can’t describe it with words.” It was written and directed by Kris Khunachak at Kris Khunachak Mutimedia.
“Waves” is the second single off Serious Matters’ “Through It All” EP. It’s a great collection of tracks with a real 2000’s vibe that draws influence from the likes of Coheed And Cambria, Thursday and Thrice. It’s the band’s first release with Manic Kat Records. You can score it now on iTunes!
