(WATCH) Jersey Rock Video of the Week: Red Black Red “The Scientist”

Red Black Red’s “Resettlement” album is out now. The project was created by Jersey Shore musician Enrico Fernando while commuting to his job to New York City via NJ Transit. The video for “The Scientist” is a beautifully animated work that pairs perfectly with the song, making every electronic sound pop visually. Check it out on the Jersey Rock page!

Red Black Red hails from the Jersey Shore, however it would not be wrong to list the North Jersey Coast Line as the group’s point of origin.  The band’s music was written and composed on a laptop by Enrico Fernando while commuting to his New York City job. While others were busy staring at their phones and listening to music, Enrico was hard at work creating it.  The result is an Electronic Industrial sound with a hint of 1980’s arcade.

Red Black Red’s “Resettlement” album is out now.  The LP tells the story of an immigrant family’s journey in an unfamiliar land.  You can score a copy at redblackredmusic.com.

One of the more striking elements of Red Black Red’s “Resettlement” is the way the songs pair perfectly with their accompanying music videos.  This week’s video of the week “The Scientist” is no exception. It is a beautifully animated work that makes every sound in the song pop in a highly visual manner.  If the classic video game “Rampage” was remade into an art film, this would most likely be the result.
