Sum 41 was playing the 2018 Reading Festival and introduced Mike Shinoda at the end of their set to play the Linkin Park track.
Deryck Whibley sang Chester Bennington‘s parts and concluded the well-executed set with saying “Chester, we miss you.”
We have to wonder if this was a test run for having Whibley cover Bennington’s place in future Linkin Park albums or shows.
