The Vaughns’ End Of Summer Splash rocks House Of Independents in Asbury Park this Thursday 8/30! Following the release of their 2014 EP, the band has been pumping out singles and recently put out an awesome A side/B side vinyl. Their video for “Bring Your Kids To Work Day” is a fun critique of the challenges many 20-somethings face when transitioning from the college world to the real world. The Vaughns hail from Springfield and draw influence from The Beatles, Alabama Shakes, and Nirvana to produce their own brand of Pop-infused Indie/Alternative Rock. The band released their self-titled EP back in 2014 and as of late has been pumping out singles on their bandcamp page. The Vaughns are closing out the Summer of 2018 in style with a special show at House Of Independents in Asbury Park on Thursday 8/30. Joining them on the bill are The Morgan Freemasons, Avery Mandeville and The Man Devils, Bobby Mahoney and The Seventh Son and Levy & The Oaks. The Vaughn’s single “Bring Your Kids To Work Day” depicts the struggles facing many young New Jerseyeans today. The video pokes fun at the trials and tribulations of 20-somethings entering the "adult world." It was directed by Stacey Sommer and edited by Colin Rooney.
