The Vaughns hail from Springfield and draw influence from The Beatles, Alabama Shakes, and Nirvana to produce their own brand of Pop-infused Indie/Alternative Rock. The band released their self-titled EP back in 2014 and as of late has been pumping out singles on their bandcamp page. They even have an A Side/B Side Vinyl out now called “Santa Cruz.” Check out their catalog at thevaughns.bandcamp.com!
The Vaughns are closing out the Summer of 2018 in style with a special show at House Of Independents in Asbury Park on Thursday 8/30. Joining them on the bill are The Morgan Freemasons, Avery Mandeville and The Man Devils, Bobby Mahoney and The Seventh Son and Levy & The Oaks. Tickets are $10 and are available at thevaughns.bigcartel.com.
Beyond their End Of Summer Splash at House Of Independents, The Vaughns will rock The North Jersey Indie Rock Festival at White Eagle Hall in Jersey City on 10/6. More info on the facebook event page!
The Vaughn’s single “Bring Your Kids To Work Day” depicts the struggles facing many young New Jerseyeans today. The video pokes fun at the trials and tribulations of 20-somethings entering the “adult world.” It was directed by Stacey Sommer and edited by Colin Rooney.
