Someone Thinks a Chad Kroeger-Fronted Nirvana is a Good Idea?

It looks like someone decided to get stupid drunk before hopping on Facebook this week. A Facebook event page titled “Nirvana Reunion With Chad Kroeger From Nickelback On Vocals” is…

A Facebook event page titled “Nirvana Reunion With Chad Kroeger From Nickelback On Vocals” is making the viral rounds today for obvious reasons.  For starters, it’s absurd. More importantly, even though it’s clearly a joke, you know some indignant Nirvana fan won’t get the joke and go on some sort of rant.

Perhaps the funniest thing about this gig’s “campaign” is that its location is set at the Nirvana Hair and Beauty Bar in Manchester, England, which after some mild research doesn’t seem like it’s equipped to handle a rock show.  However, they do seem like a decent day spa. So, if you find yourself in Manchester and are in need of a blowout, some sort of wax job or a massage, you now know where to go.

It sounds like the perfect place to cut your hair and change your name!  (Ugh...all apologies for that last joke. Sh*t! I did it again.)
