Boonton Alternative Rock act Cinema Star will perform a free show at Krogh’s in Sparta on Saturday 8/4! The band’s latest single “You Got It” not only rocks hard, but features a catchy hook. Cinema Star calls Boonton home and has been cranking out original music from there since the 2000’s. The group draws influence from the likes of New Order, Def Leppard, Buffalo Tom, and The Beatles to produce their brand of Alternative Rock. Cinema Star’s latest single “You Got It” is an energetic tune with a catchy hook and driving guitar work. You can score a download of the track now at cinemastar.bandcamp.com!
Cinema Star will be in action at Krogh’s Restaurant and Brew Pub on Saturday 8/4. The band will join Finding Feebas and Stuyvesant for “A Night of Alternative Rock and Melodic Punk.” The show goes from 10pm to 1am. It’s 21+. Admission is free.

Cinema Star’s video for “You Got It” was shot on the Seaside Heights boardwalk. It features a number of locals and visitors lip-syncing the chorus. There’s also some really cool footage of the new roller coaster and a number of other boardwalk locations. If your schedule is keeping you from making it out to the shore, you can feel like you’re there with this video.
