For years, I thought I was crazy. Every time I did a load of laundry I continued to blame the dryer for eating my socks. It turns out the dryer wasn't the culprit, all this time it was the damn washing machine!
Look at the photo below and if you have an older washing machine, it could be worth opening it up to take a look. But newer machines are made a little tighter, so there isn't space for things to fall through the cracks.
