Baron Praxis is a Psychedlic Grunge act from Toms River.  The group draws influence from 90’s Rock and describes their sound as “ranging from loud and energetic to dark and mysterious.”  Those elements are on full display on the band’s latest album “Satanic Panic.” The LP can be downloaded at

Baron Praxis’ video for “Via Negativa” is quite the trip into the woods.  The video’s dark undertones are balanced perfectly by the groups powerful performance and presence. “Via Negativa” is a well-crafted piece of music video art that perfectly showcases the band and their rockin’ track.  It features videography and photography by Bert Kauffman and Elizabeth Kaminski and editing by Ralph Hueser.

On Saturday 4/21 they’ll rock The Brighton Bar in Long Branch in support of New York-based Sex Pistols Tribute Act “No Future.”  There’s also an art show titled “Art Is Dead,” coinciding with the evening’s concert. It will feature art by Crystal Aiken, Anastasyi Baron, Marie Martello, Mark Sadiang-aby, Mario Scagnetti and Leigh Grahil.  This is an all ages show. Admission is $12 in advance and $15 at the door.
