Rocking Stanhope House This Friday 3/30
And…
Performing at The Making Waves 30th Anniversary Party This Saturday 3/31!
Asbury Park’s high-energy Punk/Folk Rock outfit The Vansaders continue to gain momentum as their notoriety grows on the Jersey Rock scene. The group prides itself on its ability to deliver a sound that blends elements of both the past and present music eras Asbury Park. That fact might be why their sound is so accessible. Whether you’re 15 or 50 The Vansaders are the kind of act that appeals to just about everyone. They provided plenty of evidence for this claim when they kicked off the Jersey Rock Showcase Series with a serious bang at The Downtown in Red Bank back in February. They are an act not to be missed.
Don’t miss The Vansaders this week! There’s simply no excuse as they’re rocking 2 back to back shows. On Friday 3/30 they’re playing The Stanhope House in Stanhope with The Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band, DeadPan Smile, and Darlingtyn. Doors are at 6pm. Tickets are $15 in advance and are available at ticketfly.com.
The very next day The Vansaders will take the stage at The Wonder Bar in Asbury Park for The Makin’ Waves 30th Anniversary Party. The event features 12 hours of local music from 2pm to 2am. Celebrating 30 years of Bob Makin’s local music spotlight column “Makin Waves”, the show will raise money for The Asbury Park Music Foundation and The Boys & Girls Club of Asbury Park. Tickets are $15 in Advance and $20 at the door. They are available at ticketmaster.com and The Stone Pony Box Office. More info HERE.
Before The Vansaders rock Stanhope and Asbury Park on back to back nights, they’ll rock Rat Radio all week. Tune to Jersey Rock on 95.9 The Rat on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 11:30 pm to hear cuts from the Vansaders latest EP “No Matter What.” Lead guitar player and songwriter Deaglan Howlett will call in to the show each night!
The Vansaders’ “No Matter What” EP was named “one of the best albums of 2017” by nj.com. It was recorded by Pete Steinkopf at Little Eden Studios. You can score a download of the disc at thevansaders.bandcamp.com.
