After a ton of buzz for seemingly year, pre-production has finally begun on the film adaptation of Motley Crue’s The Dirt, and one major casting decision has been unveiled in the process.
Per Variety, rapper Machine Gun Kelly has been tapped to play the one and only Tommy Lee. Kelly’s most recent acting credit comes via the criminally short-lived Showtime series Roadies where he played Wesley. It should be noted, too, that in the likely case of shooting in one of Lee’s infamous spinning rigs, Kelly shouldn’t be too afraid. After all, he did take a powerbomb from Kevin Owens on the June 15, 2015 episode of WWE’s Monday Night Raw.

Kelly, himself, is really pumped about the role and tweeted, “And it’s finally announced. Excuse me for being crass but…HOLY F*CKING SH*T!”
