Rocking The Asbury Park Brewery This Saturday 1/6!
Deal Casino is genuine, ambitious and driven with a sound that is both raw and polished. Their live performances have the incendiary quality of a good fireworks display and their ever-expanding catalog is brimming with deep audio declarations.
Jersey Rock kicked off 2017 with a feature on Deal Casino’s “Human Cannonball” EP. Exactly one year later we’re ringing in 2018 with the band’s “Calidus” EP. Last year was a busy one for the Asbury Park Indie Rock staple. In addition to their highly active live performance schedule, they released their debut self-titled album, produced an awesome music video/short film and released the “Calidus EP.” You can score copies of the eponymous album and “Calidus” EP at dealcasinomusic.com.
Tune to Jersey Rock on 95.9 The Rat on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 11:30 pm to hear cuts from the “Calidus” EP. Deal Casino singer Joe P. will call in to the show each night.
Don’t miss Deal Casino this Saturday 1/6 at The Asbury Park Brewery. Their playing with The Morgan Freemasons and The Vaughns. Doors are at 7:00 pm. The show is free. For more information visit asburyparkbrewery.com.
Deal Casino will be in action again later this month, 1/24 at Arlene’s Grocery in New York City. Joining them on the bill that night are Young Thieves, Rare Futures, and Latewaves. Doors are at 7:00 PM. This is a 21+ show. Tickets are $10 and are available at arlenesgrocery.net.
Deal Casino’s music video for “Calidus” was featured as the Jersey Rock Video of the Week back in December. Influenced by Pink Floyd’s “Live In Pompeii,” the live performance was shot in one take at a remote NJ junk yard on a hot day last summer. It’s really more of a short film than a music video. Check it out!
