Avenged Sevenfold drummer Brooks Wackerman is taking a turn on the chair for NBC’s Late Night With Seth Meyers next week.
Wackerman will be playing with the show’s 8G Band from December 4-7, following in the footsteps of Pearl Jam’s Matt Cameron, the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Chad Smith, Tool’s Danny Carey and others.
Wackerman is a former member of Bad Religion who joined A7X during 2015 to replace Arin Ilejay. Wackerman played on the group’s latest album, The Stage, which will be released in a new deluxe edition on December 15.
The group begins a North American tour on January 12 in Nashville.
